Daily Word:
Jude 1:23-24
“Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in triumphant joy, and exultation [with unspeakable, ecstatic delight]”
“To the one only God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory (splendor), majesty, might and dominion, and power and authority, before all time and now and forever (unto all the ages of eternity). Amen (so be it)”
As I read to the end of the only chapter in Jude, I was blessed.
Our world, though large, has gotten much smaller over the last days and weeks.
We are quarantined in our homes.
Our circle is smaller.
As such, I tend to focus more on me.
And then comes the condemnation.
I start thinking about all my faults instead of my strengths.
But as I read this passage this morning, I was reminded that God is my Keeper.
He will keep me from stumbling.
He will keep me from slipping.
He will keep me from falling.
And, so I ask Him to keep on keeping me His.
Keep me from stumbling, slipping and falling.
Secondly, because Jesus died for me, He presents me as unblemished in His sight.
Gratitude fills my heart as I ponder His gift to me.
Far from perfect, He makes me perfect to look upon.
Even with all my faults, He presents me as faultless and blameless.
All the glory is in Christ.
Hi is Majesty.
He is Might.
He is Power.
He is Almighty, forever.
Forever, not just for now.
Forever.
Forever, He will reign.
Forever, He will love us.
I put my trust in Him.
There is no better way to begin this day than to praise His Name!
Today I choose to praise the Lord for all that He has done and all that He will do.
May you find that the Lord will keep you and that He reigns in your heart forever.
Daily Prayer:
O Lord, my God, thank You for the reminding me that You are All Powerful and Almighty. Thank You for reminding me that You are my Keeper. You keep me from stumbling, slipping, and falling. You keep me close to You. Thank You for providing a way for me to come to You blameless and faultless. Thank You for sending Your Son to die for me so that I can be completely Yours and be seen by You as perfect. Fill my soul and spirit today with Your love, Father, so that I may praise You! For You are more deserving of all the praise I can give. You save me every day, Lord. Every day You show me more of You and save me one more time. Thank You, Lord, for showing me more of You and Your Son every time I open Your Word. Thank You that I can freely read Your Word and be blessed. Thank You that I can freely praise and worship You. Thank You that I can share Your Word with those You call upon as Yours. I ask that You keep me in all ways, Lord. Keep me Yours. Keep me from stumbling, slipping, and falling. Keep me at Your feet. Help me bless someone this day. Thank You for hearing my prayer.
Answer: I will keep you, My child, and will keep all of My children as My own.
Response: Undeserving of Your love, attention, and safety, Lord, thank You.
